The location is surrounded by dense tropical growth, monstera leaves pushing into the frame, roots coming down to the water's edge. What I was working with was the layering: the stillness of the pool against the movement of the falls, the cool blue-green of the water against the warmth of the bark and rock. The fallen trunk cutting diagonally through the frame keeps it from being too composed.
